Log Files

I haven't seen it anywhere, but it would be nice if you would provide a log file (providing how long it took to write each track, etc.).

If this is something that you would like to consider, email me.

This is one of the most expected new features (at least for some of us here). I believe that Poiko allready started working on the log system while he developed v12, but he didn't finished yet at the time v12 was released. I'm hoping that the v13 will finally bring this long-awaited feature.

I wish that Poiko at least give us a hint if we can expect to see this in the next version.

Every once a while, I rip my CD's to MP3 or AAC for various listening devices, and I'm always thinking about the lossless archive of all my albums which I can easily convert. So I even started ripping my CD's to FLAC a few days ago, but I've quit once again, because I would probably eat myself if the new version with the log feature comes out shortly.

Theoretically, if you don't compare your rips with the rips made by other people with different drives and software, ripping log is really not that important. Personally, when ripping CD's, if I encounter errors during the first rip with Method #1, I immediately switch to Method #2 and re-rip the faulty tracks. Sometimes I even lower the ripping speed, when dealing with the CD's in bad condition. So, technically I don't need logs, because I resolve the ripping issues right away. But it would still be a nice feature to have, especially since some other ripping programs out there have it allready.
