Shell Extension is installed to the new and old context menu.
You have two entries in old menu because you have two copies installed ?

I uninstalled it in case it was a carryover but the new install was the same.
So, the old menu has two entries both are working. Just one installation of EZ.
Windows 11 Pro

Build 434 Beta puts new context-menus also to the old context-menus ? I have the latest release build and it does not happen for me.
Or do you have some custom registry setting change ? You also have Mp3tag and WinRAR modern menus put into the old menus too.

No custom registry setting, and the other apps are just default settings.
Windows 11 has two menus (beta and dev) for the right-click menu now and no setting for them.

I tested on the latest Dev build and there is only one entry in the 'old' menu.
Thexfile: there is something on your computer that duplicates the new Windows 11 extensions to the 'old' menu. (?)

I uninstalled and restarted, and installed clean.
I right-clicked on the flac file, and that double link showed up in the old menu. If I right-click on open place, only one link shows up.

Thx for the info. I will check it again. If it changed at some Windows 11 build then I will need to make some conditionals there. We don't want double-entries there.

Windows 11 Pro 22000.466 does not have double-entries. Please note that not even WinRAR 'modern' menus are not duplicated into the 'classic' context-menu.

Try right-clicking on a folder with music files in it.

Found the problem...
I usually install EZ direct or manually, but the Microsoft Store also installed EZ.
Three weeks ago, I did a clean install of Windows 11, so I'm still flushing out stuff.
Everything is OK now.
