EZ CD for Windows on ARM

Computers with ARM processors are no longer exotic choices, when will we see an EZ CD version that works?

At the moment, despite the IA32 emulation, the installation ends with an error that repeats itself when the program is started.

I haven't had opportunity to test the EZ CD Audio Converter on Windows ARM. The error is probably caused by special x86/x64 methods that are used to prevent tampering (hacking) of the App. I will try to find a solution for Windows ARM.

Microsoft Store version of EZ CD Audio Converter should run fine on Windows ARM, can you try it ?

Yes, the Windows Store version works fine but I can't compress to MPEG-D USAC. I manually downloaded the 32bit version because the 64bit is not emulated. May be I can send to you the hardware in september.

Windows ARM emulates only x86 not x64 ?
I haven't tested Windows ARM at all as yet

What happens with MPEG-D USAC (Fraunhofer xHE-AAC encoder ?)

On my RaspBerry Pi 400 with Windows 11 Pro, the EZ CD Audio Converter 11.1.1 x64 installation runs without any noticeable glitches.
I haven't tried the MS Store version.

Thanks, I was getting lost in a glass of water.

I hadn't tried to use the trial version of EZ CD Audio converter from Microsoft Store – https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail ... indowsApps – because having bought two licenses on this site I thought I could use them at least in emulation.

My previous message refers to the free version of EZ CD – https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail ... indowsApps – , which does not allow to use xHE-AAC and other encoders.

Both work perfectly and buying a third license will cost me less than shipping the hardware to Poikosoft.

Thank you for your interest in my problem and I apologize for not answering you earlier. I do several recordings and the passively cooled processors allow me to keep the hardware close to the microphones and not out of the room. I also use the Raspberry Pi 4 and 400 but for now I prefer to stay away from Windows 11. There are updates that forced me to reinstall everything twice.
