Hello Poiko,

Just wondering, is there a best way to install the latest version of EZCD under Windows 10 x64 ?

> Just install the latest version "over" the previous one ?

> Uninstall the older version first, then install the latest version ?

What's your call ?

FWIW I never had to uninstall the old one, even jumping several major versions. Upgrades even recognize your previous activation.

I would uninstall the older version first.

You will probably need your key after the new install.

Thanks for your feedbacks.

What I usually do is :

> Backup the folder "C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\EZ CD Audio Converter" ;
> Uninstall EZ CD ;
> Install the latest build ;
> Recover the files in "C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\EZ CD Audio Converter" ;

An option to backup, or export / import EZ CD configuration would be nice, including :

> Profiles ;
> Encoder settings ;
> Custom file renaming templates ;
> Ripper / Converter settings ;
> All options settings ;
> cddb xml files and covers arts ;
> CD ripping / File converting windows position and field sizes ;

Well ... I guess I'll keep my current habits, thanks for your input !

No need to uninstall. New installer will correctly overwrite the (all) old versions.
