Windows On Arm

Post by yamasakiross » Thu May 23, 2024 7:10 pm

With all of Microsoft's new strategy recently regarding the future of Windows on ARM chips, will we have a dedicated version of EZ for such chips?

Unfortunately, without any official announcements or roadmaps from Embarcadero, it's difficult to provide a definitive answer. The best approach would be to keep an eye on Embarcadero's communications and product updates, as well as the broader trends in the Windows on ARM ecosystem. If you have a specific need or use case for EZ on ARM-based Windows devices, you could also consider reaching out to Embarcadero to share your feedback and requirements age of war

All DLLs can be compiled for ARM because they are built with Visual Studio (Intel oneAPI C++ and VC++ compilers)

Unfortunately the UI cannot yet be compiled for ARM because it is built with Embarcadero RAD Studio that does not yet have compilers for ARM.

OFF: Is there a problem with the MS STORE version? An update appeared today and I went to update, then the app was converted to the 32-bit version.

Correct 64-bit update is now available in the Microsoft Store.
