API or Command Line options for EZ CD

Post by AlfaGTV » Tue May 07, 2024 10:36 pm

I would seriously love, to be able to set up a headless "ripping station" using EZ CD Audio Converter.

Objective: On a headless PC, just insert a CD of choice, and EZ CD identifies, tags and rips the CD to a predestined location. Basically, like Vortexbox, but modern, fully functional and with great metadata management.

I'm thinking it would be easy to just set up if EZ CD had an API, or a a Command Line option for basic functions.
You could configure Windows to automatically invoke a "rip with EZ CD.cmd"-file on insertion of a CD.

What do you think guys and gals?

I'll even settle for a "batch" checkbox in an open EZ CD, in Ripper Mode;
1. Rip inserted audio discs automatically, equipping them with firstly suggested metadata.
1.5 Dubious releases gets placed in a quarantine folder for manual identification.
2. eject disc

What do you think @poiko ? This would be a great addition, to all those that still buy CD's!
