Multiple folders in EZ Meta Tag Editor

Post by yxz11 » Tue Mar 19, 2024 3:47 pm

Hello there,

EZ Meta Tag Editor has the best metadata source among all tagger software. However, the interface could have been better, especially an interface to process multiple folders would help a lot. Here are some thoughts:

An interface like EZ CD Audio Converter works very well to process multiple folders, obviously, following essential features needed to be added:
1. the capability to retrieve metadata for multiple folders in the list
2. an interface to review metadata retrieved (could be something similar to Calibre for ebooks)

And these are nice to have features:
3. capability to skip reviewing and use the first found metadata for each folder
4. capability to process "boxsets" (like TagScan), for example, it could be a couple of cds: https://musicbrainz.org/release/f9567e2 ... f5e8f18806 or almost a hundred cds https://musicbrainz.org/release/9e58d7a ... 774e2c32d8

And in general, to improve interface:
5. shortcut key for specific task, e.g. "search for CD metadata", "edit metadata" etc.
6. capability to select different attributes from different metadata source.

Thanks

EZ Meta Tag Editor's ability to retrieve metadata for multiple folders in the list is not very convenient.

I agree. The current method for retrieving metadata across multiple folders in EZ Meta Tag Editor could be more user-friendly. Improving this aspect would make managing tags much smoother.
