[ Fixed ] Subfolder starting with . not added to the audio converter list

Post by tonysawford » Mon Sep 25, 2017 12:00 am

The latest fix for the bugs reported in 7.0.3 seem to have broken the audio conversion function in 7.0.4

If you use either the "EZ CD Audio Converter|Convert" shell extension, or drag files from the file selector in EZ CD Audio Converter, the list of files to be converted is not populated, and there is no sign of any error message.

This is using the 64 bit version in Windows 10.

Cheers,
Tony

A bit more information...

The problem is related to folders whose name begins with "."

In my case, I have a folder called "Aphex Twin" that contains another folder called "...I Care Because You Do".

If I select individual files in the "...I Care" folder, or the "...I Care" folder itself, then everything is fine and the list is populated correctly. However, if I select the "Aphex Twin" folder, then it seems that the sub folder is ignored.

This is not a new feature of 7.0.4 - I have tried an earlier version and that also behaves in the same way.

Cheers,
Tony

You're right. I just fixed it.

It previously did not add subfolder starting with a . to the list. It's always been like that. It will work in the next update.
