Could you include multi-channel ambisonics for opus?
Maybe some stereo wide effects in DSP?

I played with Opus 1.3 today. I made a new encoder using the Opus 1.3rc2.

I have not figured out what would be the benefit of using ambisonics in EZ CD. There is already the surround mode for 4.0 and 5.1. But I will study it more next week.

With Dolby calming down, I thought OPUS would an opportunity to get multi-channel.

@thexfile

ambisonic is a feature in opus 1.3 thats allow describing soundsources
with a roomvector instead of using fixed channels
so this calculated at playing how is best way to channel it (exs. at 2 speaker only)
in moment opus is the only one can offer this feature
(ambisound is a phillips technic)

for EZ CD software as converter this has only sense at converting from opus to opus
remember: ambisonic is not multichannel (fixpointed) - its multiple source in room
