Album Gain/Peak not processing on all songs

Post by greenleroy » Thu Sep 13, 2018 5:15 pm

Have an album ripped as MP3. Processed RG on all songs. All songs have same Album name metadata. 10 songs in total, 4 of them have the same artist name, the others each are from a different artist. Only the 4 songs with the same artist name get Album RG data, the others are ignored for Album RG, and those metadata fields are left blank.

It is important to note that in this case, The Album Artists was "Various Artists" when ripped, but I changed each of the album artist fields to the same as the track artist. Perhaps the logic for Album RG is not only based upon the album name being the same, but also some sort of logic around the album artists name.

The older Easy CD-DA did not do this... it processed album RG for all songs in the work window that had the same album name metadata.

Album Gain is processed if the following conditions are met:

1) Files are in the same (source) folder
2) Album Artist and Album Title match for each file (Album Artist can be empty)
3) Files are under same parent in Audio Converter list (in root or under folder name)
4) There are at least two files that meets the conditions 1-3
