Faster Convert Audio

Post by ox_triangle » Sat Oct 20, 2018 10:06 pm

little hint for faster convert on MultiCore-CPUs of many tracks
Sort the List of Files biggest/longest Track to top
and shortest to bottom - this hint results in better corebalancing
at end of convertingprocess and can gain up to half time.
(exs. 40 tracks a 2-3min and one track 60min)

maybe its could be automatic sort in background in future.

btw
if you add dirs to list then the sort of the tracks isnt best
try to add only files then the sort is best for this hint

in my case i use the searchbar of explorer with *.mp3 as exsample
to get a clear searchlist to drag'n'drop without dirs
but this way has a weak: too long filepath/names can disrupt the drag'n'drop
