its possible to add a little (converter) benchmark
to test which threads-setting is results in optimal speed

In my tests the best setting is the number of processor threads and EZ CD sets it like that by default.

I.e. 4 core processor with 8 threads, the best setting is 8 converters. EZ CD Audio Converter will then actually use 18 threads when converting; 8 for decoder, 8 for encoder, 1 for control, and 1 for UI.

have found other situations lower threads are faster

if you have drive with slow random access (old drive, usb aso)
and try to convert big files (flac/wav)
its faster to convert only 4 (300x) instead of 16 (70x)
