Consider changing
Additional set of <> removes all text inside if any of the tags inside are empty
to
Using an additional set of <> to group a set of tags will remove the text from all tags within the group if one of the tags is empty
or
Group tags with an additional set of <> to remove the text from all tags if a member tag is empty

I know it's wordy, but I can't think of another clear and concise way to explain this, if this is what you you are trying to say.
