New to this (obviously!).
I bought and installed Meta Tag Editor thinking, and hoping, it would enter automatically track details of an LP. Is this possible, or will it only do that for CDs?
I have, and still am, converting many of my extensive collection of LPs to digital on the computer. It has taken me as long as 5 hours to do one double compilation album of classical music - having to enter all the track details manually.
The only 'shortcut' I found to do that was to locate the album on Discogs and copy/paste the details from there. Is that the only method? I hoped the Tag Editor might find the album for me and automatically enter the track details. Was that a hope too far?

Re: Tagging LPs?
It works better for digital rips because the automatic search is based on track offsets on a CD.
You can use manual search with Discogs, MusicBrainz, and GD3. Enter Album Artist and/or Album and select the correct result.

Re: Tagging LPs?
Thank you for replying. I tried all the options/variables I could find but none of them turned up the particular LP I was looking for.
I found the LP on Discogs website easily but the Meta Tag Editor won't or cannot find it using any of the alternatives.
I shall just have to enter it all manually again
. For a few moments my hopes were raised.
