Overview
These settings control how the application retrieves album and track metadata from online databases.
The Internet Disc Databases allow automatic fetching of music information such as: Artist name, Album title, Track list, Release Year and Genre. This saves time and ensures consistent, accurate tagging for your music files.
Internet disc database
Internet disc databases will be queried in the order specified in the list. A database can be disabled by unchecking the selection.
Limit metadata results per service
Limit the number of downloaded metadata results for faster Internet database access.
Download high-resolution Cover Art
Enable to get high-resolution cover art images. Disable for faster cover art downloads.
Use Proxy Server
Enable this option if your network requires a proxy to access the internet.
Server
Enter the proxy server address
- Format examples:
- http://proxy.example.com:8080
- 192.168.1.100:3128
Check with your network administrator if you’re unsure.
Username & Password
If your proxy requires authentication:
- Username: Your proxy login name
- Password: Your proxy password
