These options define how the application accesses and retrieves album and track information from online metadata sources.
The Internet Disc Databases are used to automatically gather music details such as artist name, album title, track listing, release year and genre. This helps reduce manual tagging effort while maintaining consistent and accurate metadata across your music library.
Internet disc database
Internet disc databases are queried in the order shown in the list. Individual sources can be disabled by unchecking them.
Limit metadata results per service
Restricts the number of metadata results downloaded from each service, helping to speed up online database lookups.
Download high-resolution Cover Art
Enables downloading of high-quality, high-resolution album artwork. Disabling this option can improve cover art retrieval speed.
Use Proxy Server
Turn this on if Internet connection requires a proxy server to access online services.
Server
Specify the address of the proxy server.
- Examples of valid formats:
- http://proxy.example.com:8080
- 192.168.1.100:3128
If you are unsure about the correct settings, consult your network administrator.
Username & Password
If the proxy requires login credentials:
- Username: The authentication username for the proxy server
- Password: The corresponding proxy password
